Just an advise that might help.... Check Harman Kardon HD990 CDP. It has digital ins full balanced analod outs and one of the best DACs arround with a very good implimentation.
Why bother yourself and "patch" a very good working unit, when addin some 300$ you get a brilluant cdp and a superb DAC? If you have a system where you can hear the difference, 300$investment is worth going for.
