I just purchased a new Touch and was able to get it up and running and playing songs from my Logitech Media server. Great!
A Few Questions: 1) When I first turned on the touch and hooked into my network, it wanted to do what I thought was a firmware upgrade. Latter when attempting to play music from my Logitech Media Software it alerted another software update. This time it looked like it downloaded LMS to the Touch without a way to cancel? Is there a way to adjust settings here? 2) When I power down to alarm clock and unplug my Touch, wait 60 seconds, plug back in the Touch it will not boot. It is getting power since I can see the optical light on the connection. If I remove the power connection on the Touch side and reconnect the Touch boots? Is this normal? 3) Can I set a fixed IP address for my LMS in the Touch? Where would I do that. My server already has a fixed IP address.
