1) not sure, but probably 2) if you're running LMS then you can ignore mysqueezebox.com. But if you want to use online music services that require login credentials you do need to have a mysb.com account and put your credentials there, and in the mysqueezebox.com tab in LMS Settings. LMS will check with mysb.com in the background if you try to connect to something like Rhapsody for example.
3) Squeezeboxes generally do check periodically to see if a server is available. I believe that is by design, to help it recover from a dropped connection. It sounds as if your computer may be set to wake up on any network traffic, which is more sensitive than you want or need. In most cases it is better to set the computer to wake only if it receives the specific wake-on-LAN "magic packet". This setting is usually changed in the computer's BIOS (the setup screen that is available before the computer boots fully), although I understand that on Windows 7 the setting is available in Win7's power management settings. -- aubuti ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92108 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
