It depends both on the number of symmetrical stones and on the amount of Kool-Aid you've drunk. Higher FLAC compression levels do require marginally more CPU time to decode. Some believe the extra CPU load is sufficient to adversely affect the sound quality of the player. Those people recommend a compression setting of 0.
