I've brought this over from Pinkfish ish Media where I'm also a active member. This was the information from John W about his forthcoming Touch mod 'The biggest issue with the SBT is its very high jitter on the SPDIF outputs due to the internal clocking arrangement, the SPDIF is outputted directly from the freescale processor without re- synchronisation (the SPDIF is not re- latched to the clean audio clock). Our retrofit PCB will resynchronise the Data when "clock-locked " to the MDAC. Jitter from the SBT in standard form is over 1nS RMS on its SPDIF outputs - these is quite a high number.'
