I've been trying to get the Triode Spotify plugin to work solidly on the Touch but have been plagued with dropouts /rebuffering, almost rendering it useless at times. It does seem intermittent but happens a lot. I'm running LMS on a mac pro w/Lion via ethernet and have tried everything I can think of including reinstalls, swapped routers, ticked the use helper app etc. I love the Touch and the Triode plugin is great.
I tried the official plugin via mysqueezebox.com and it doesn't seem to rebuffer but I get weird crackling noises coming through the right channel which I can't explain and the plugin is so limited compared to Triode's. I'd love to get it working as I Know it could be so good but I end up switching it off after a few mins or switching to the iOS or Mac version of Spotify with airplay via my Apple tv which I don't think sounds as good but almost never drops out.
