Yes, try simply connecting the laptop to your network. To connect Touch directly to your laptop requires Internet Connection Sharing be enabled on the laptop, I wouldn't mess with that. ;)
Tried the Touch very close (same room) to the WiFi router? Does it have issues with streaming stations then? Tried with both laptop and Touch close to the router? If Touch is having issues like buffering while playing a simple internet radio stream then you likely have a network and/or WiFi issue. Tried the laptop wired to the router? If your server computer and your player are both using WiFi that alone can cause such playback problems, particularly if one or both WiFi devices are using a poor WiFi signal. Best to wire the server if possible, if no other reason than to test it wired. -- toby10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=93650 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
