In the LMS web settings info screen it shows wireless signal strength of
connected devices. For some reason mine dropped to 8% today and was
having problems. I cycled the power on the Touch and now its 56% and
running OK. Forcing the  wireless router to re-connect to the Touch
would have achieved the same result. 

I notice differing strengths reported from time to time. I guess it
depends on the local wireless environment. If its low signal strength
that's the problem then switching to another channel may help. Moving
my wireless router away from a wall by a few cm helped quite a lot for
the extremities of the house. My radio didn't like it at all when next
to a mirror... Silver coating blocks the wireless!!
