The main purpose of usb is to allow async usb operation which if the dac is designed to use optimally could potentially lead to better sound quality than spdif. However it depends on the dac. I doubt a hub would compromise the sound quality - if you are concerned about the impact of touch/hub on a usb dac then it would be worthwhile looking at usb isolators. However if you are happy with coax then keep using that! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Triode's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94512 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
