Me too, no luck with a NAD M51 over its USB port (SPDIF up to 192k works as expected). According to the specs it should be fully USB Audio Class 2 compliant, for Windows you have to download a driver and for Mac it's driverless. Linux is not mentioned. I can't see why it doesn't work. I thought that as a rule of thumb, if it works for Mac it should work for Linux the same way.
