Hi all I recently purchased a Touch and a Vortexbox appliance and have just finished ripping my CD collection. I'm really pleased, sound quality through my DAC is on par with my CD player but the convenience and ease of use, especially using the ipeng remote app, is fantastic. But I'm sure I'm preaching to the converted!
However, I'm about to now rip my wife's CDs and I'm looking at a way in which they can be tagged that will enable the Touch to display them separately than my CDs. She has a very different taste in music to mine and I'd like to set it up so when she was selecting music she would just scan through her library and not mine. Ideally, this would be achieved by either having an option to access my music library or her's, or alternatively have a folder (a bit like "various artists") for her music. I did try ripping one CD and also including an "Album Artist" tag of "1. Jane's music". This achieved the goal of having a folder for her music just underneath the "various artist" folder. But unfortunately the "album artist" tag overrode the "artist"tag and the music was just listed by album name and not artist. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can achieve this, or if it is possible? Any solution needs to be really simple....
