Useful post, thanks. Helped bring some focus to the firmware version(s): Looking through http://update.slimdevices.com/update/firmware/ I see that 'fab4.*' files only appear in SBS 7.5. We are running one of the 7.4.x betas. Baby and Jive firmware files are present in the 'net directory for 7.4.x; our linux SBS install only has firmwares for the transporter, boom, receiver, etc (these are in /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/Firmware). We do run Squeezeplay on desktop systems without difficulty; I thought that, essentially, was 'Touch'. Perhaps I'm mistaken, there. SBS 7.5 was released in April 2010, I think. Was Touch not released already by then? Nevertheless, your post implies that Touch firmware is only downgradeable to SBS 7.5, if it is downgradeable, at all. That's important, I think, in itself. Is my issue 'only' resolveable by either: (a) Upgrading SBS to LMS matching the Touch, or (b) Downgrading Touch firmware to some SBS/LMS >= 7.5, 'and' upgrading my SBS, anyway, to that version? regards, Atlantic ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Atlantic's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44239 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96436 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
