I'm sorry, I use SPDIF (Toslink) into my DSPeaker Dual Core DAC/EQ, not USB, so I cannot replicate your problem. Earlier on, I tried USB via a VLink II USB to SPDIF converter, and had no problem with crackling. Try varying the order in which you load TT, EDO, and SBGK. If that does not work, I would suggest dropping TT from the mix.
