Nevertheless , Touch is usually better than previus squeezeboxes ? But streaming continues audio is more demanding than surfing the web etc . Before I wired most my players in 2010 ( I did use wifi since 2006 ) I had the eyearly routine of wifi war with the neighbourhood . Usually moving to a less crowded channel ( if possible ) and via custom fw and bigger antennas up the power of my wifi :P
But then I figured with a some hand tools and afternoon of work I could get rid of that forever . Another essential factor is to keep the server wired , otherwise it doubles the wifi capacity needed and could introduce other problems if the computer does other downloads in the background , this could be less of a problem if it uses n band instead of g . I do simultainiusly stream to 3 squeezeboxes and want that to always work .
