I've been using Squeezebox products now for several years and have been very happy. I started out with a couple DUETS running wirelessly. I never had any problems with dropouts. A year ago, I upgraded one of the DUETS to a TOUCH. Immediately, I had drop out problems with the TOUCH. They were so bad that I had to go the route of using an ethernet over powerline system. Result: no more dropouts. Just a couple of days ago, I purchased another TOUCH and moved my second Duet to another system. Once again, the wireless dropouts began with this new TOUCH, just like before. I went out and bought another powerline network adapter and problem solved. My question is this. I have now had two experiences where the DUET was far superior in capturing a wireless signal. Is there any logical reason for this?
