Well, while I am waiting around for Sandy to hit I got around to hooking up the new Touch to the Audioengine D1 DAC and the A2s. I connect the Touch to the DAC using an optical cable, and am listening to it now. I'm very happy with the sound. The only thing I have to figure out is the DAC...it doesn't seem to like the optical input, and I have to power it off and then back on to hear the audio from the Touch. Aside from that, it is all good.
And I LOVE the fact that now, with 4 different devices, I can really have music playing all over the house...living room and downstairs family room (with Touch #1 connect to my Denon AV receiver), kitchen with the SB Radio, master BR with the Boom, and now my office with Touch #2.
