I have my SBT connected to a PSAudio PerfectWave DAC2. LMS is running on a VortexBox and is not running on the SBT. I have both USB and SPDIF connections in place. I am getting sound both ways and the sound is good. When I boot up the SBT and it connects with the DAC, even before the interface comes up, it reports a 192KHz connection (for USB). However, regardless of Digital or USB, when I stream radio at 192Khz, it reports 44.1KHz, and when I tested a 96KHz FLAC file, the DAC reports 48KHz.
