I know this is off topic, but why three? Are they in different locations than cannot be linked via wifi or Ethernet? How do you keep the music on the servers syncd up so that everything is up to date? To the original poster. Are you using a powered USB drive? (not powered through the touch power supply). I was using the touch to power a USB drive and it worked for a while, then suddenly nothing but problems. Last night I set up a external powered USB drive and the scan was very quick compared to the old drive. I have not tested if for reliability yet.
