No I am positive. When I tune Touch to listen BBC Radio 3, output stream (via SPDIF) is 24bit and 96K sample rate. That is what DAC shows, and I have more than one DAC. Subjective sound quality matches that values - it is on part with playing a CD. Apparently BBC uses 360kbps AAC encoding with 24/96 source (which is similar to DTS 24/96 encoding). EDO plugin kills this feature, and again subjectively sound quality gets very poor. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ avp1's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59973 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94512 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
