The Joggler is essentially an Atom based small PC in a 7" touch screen
form factor. As its a PC it runs various versions of Linux, Windows XP
and there's even a version of Android available.

If you want a nicely built piece of quality hardware to plug in and
leave on a fixed location then the Joggler fits the bill. My main
Joggler runs LMS, including various plugins, serves videos to my PS3 and
acts as one of my main SB players including 24/96 files via a USB DAC.
All at the same time.

This is it installed in a false wall

And this is the other one free standing on my amp in another room.

If all you want is a cheap controller then yes a cheap android tab would
be ideal.
