Hi, I have seen that too some times: "an issue with the backligth turning on randomly for some players". Furthermore, I have the feeling that there is not that much development anymore around the FW. The above behaviors and that the players do not recover nicely to their prior state after a (short) power outage is not normal for a professional product.
Also that the Touch with its built-in 'tiny LMS' doesn't work stable when an USB stick with a music collection is plugged into the USB port of the Touch, is also a major design weakness as discussed many times on this forum. Why is an USB port on the Touch delivered and marketed if the Touch cannot provide sufficient power to this port and the Touch itself doesn't have sufficient CPU and internal memory to run the LMS package decently. It is a kind of redicuul that you have to run the LMS on a sepatate server on your network (I use an Acer Aspire One netbook for this purpose). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Marc_S's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56681 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=100406 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
