Hmm, I really don't like this silicone idea. I have one and even that I am technically skilled, it is still not an ideal mounting solution for this amount of money. What if you have to take the Touch down, say for any maintenance, cable rework, etc? Just glueing it to the wall is not a "mounting" solution, not even if the plate would have cost 5$.
Besides, I would prefer it in a more rectangular shape. The hugely rounded corners with enlarged corner radius of the Touch itself makes it look really strange. Even using *the* same corner radius as on the Touch would have been much more pleasant.
