Try this, with the dac connected to the Touch and powered on, just pull
the power plug of the Touch from the wall socket, wait a second or ten.
then plug back in.

If this does not work then I would suggest a factory reset,( there is a
recommended procedure for resetting the touch which has had EDO
installed, if you search, you should find it).  Re-install v7.8 and
check that the Touch works correctly and then add EDO with the dac
connected to the Touch.

If you have done this and still cannot see the dac, try using an
unpowered USB hub.
