Try this, with the dac connected to the Touch and powered on, just pull the power plug of the Touch from the wall socket, wait a second or ten. then plug back in. If this does not work then I would suggest a factory reset,( there is a recommended procedure for resetting the touch which has had EDO installed, if you search, you should find it). Re-install v7.8 and check that the Touch works correctly and then add EDO with the dac connected to the Touch.
