hmmm ... there is no c-o-r-r-e-l-a-t-i-o-n between the sampling process (analog-to digital and vice-versa) and the storing process: none, nada, rien, nichts, niente. Sampling process has it clock reference sources and power supply and these can effect jitter of *sampling*, but once it is digital, it becomes a "symbol" not a "unique instance" anymore (the form of what is used to store the 1 and the 0 does not matter and these dicussion about the "squareness" of the signal is ridiculous). You can store that in your favorite hard drive, SSD, in dropbox or wherever you want, it does not matter. Now if somebody wants to say that when I'm plugging my toaster in NAM it can have an influence on the quality of a recording happening in the UK because I'm inserting some noise in the grid ... well, obsiously Harry Potter is your mentor.
