Hello! I've recently acquired a used SBT to connect to my DAC (TEAC UD-501).
I haven't been able to use USB out through the DAC with EDO. I'm still working on this (I have yet to try this "tweak" (http://www.head-fi.org/t/615791/working-audio-gd-async-usb-to-squeezebox-touch-up-to-192k-24b-teac-ud-h01-and-other-te8802l-based-dacs-may-work-too). But anyway. I have been able to play through optical into the DAC without any problem. Considering the UD-501 optical is limited to 24/96, I thought I'd connect the SBT and the DAC with a coaxial cable (limited to 24/192) but it won't play any sound. UD-501 sees the connection at some point (display: COAX 1 in!) and then it blinks asking to "unlock". I tried this with EDO installed and uninstalled but to no avail. I tried choosing between analog+digital or digital only, but still no sound. I bought a noname (Hama) coaxial cable, so maybe the cable isn't good enough but still it's brand new and should work even if the quality is not "high end".
