Just pick one , should not really mater however the spec for this DAC says that the USB is "limited" to 24/96 since you post in the EDO tread I assume you want to use 24/196 files ? so in this case *spdif* . Spdif is probably easier to get going to USB seems somewhat finicky and device depending . But just try to figure if both works .
