The open back makes them a no go for listening in bed-Mrs. does not appreciate the subliminal messages of Porcupine Tree or Howling Wolf at 11 ;) Audio-Technica ATH-M40x are one of the best balanced headphones I can recall. They sound wonderful. The fact that they are $100 US makes these a great buy. Trouble is they become uncomfortable quickly for me. Inbound Oppo PM-3's, Denon AH-MM400's, Sennheiser Momentum 2's and Audeze EL-8 closed back. I have a M2TECH Young but have no way to control volume. I've worked with Bes-Besflores Nievera of Music Direct for decades. I'll hit him up for a nano iDSD TL ------------------------------------------------------------------------ trans_lux's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9921 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94512
