Touch is a network streaming client it has Ethernet or wifi for the streaming part , it will not act as soundcard. The server is Logitechmedia server (for your own files ) which install somewhere and/or can be an online service called mysqueezebox.com , for a plethora of online services The USB was originally for externel usb stick or a harddrive . Now it can be used (with an 3rd party app caled EDO) as an USB audio output , if you need that . You can still try the idea of pairing it with a harddrive , but its slow and buggy and you will not get the best of what this product can do (allrigth it sucks to use an external hardrive :) ) -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub.
