Not its just added complexity/complications for no gain . Does it not
remove the analog out for example . I dont use them on all my touches
but its one more thing to remember.

Why install extra 3rd party apps if they dont perform anything you need
.

So if you need EDO its a fine addition to the player . But itherwise i
tend to use anything in stock configuration as often as possible to not
give myself some maintanence hell . Gazilions of settngs to remeber to
set .

Likewise with the file types settings , they are basically default fr
example , again to aboid unforseen issues...
