Service manuals do exist for most of electronic products (especially not current models). If not given free you can buy them I guess will be some exceptions but in this case usually manufacturer gives some info, most cases schematics
I wonder what's the use of trying to hide information for a product you discontinued ? Mind that they discontinued the whole line of Squeezeboxes. Makes no sense. If it's true, as jfo says, that they have one policy for all their products, this sucks big time If past warranty I don't have any kind of support, I'd just won't buy any of their products, period.
