The Wifi in the Squeezebox2 and 3 was more reliable. The main issue arises from the inability for the Touch wifi to handle congestion well on the same channels. If you are in an area with crowded airwaves....nothing but issues. My recommendation is dont mess with it....and use a Ethernet/Wifi media adapter or go wired the whole way if possible. The wifi bridges can be found inexpensive, and will simply bypass the problem. I use some older linksys units (that are both n and ac) -- and go wired into that from the Touch. Flawless.
