A small Intel NUC as an alternative to raspi , if you need higher performance .
Note that modern hardware has very intellligent power scheduling ie use the WOL ( Wake on lan ) and the server can be sleeping using very little , and then come back to life when you want to use it . WoL can also not a completely turned of server if its configured in such maner . Reusing some old P4 gamling/tower pc with a powerfull graphic card and a lot of extra drives etc can be wastefull .
