LMS couldn't be simpler so I doubt it is the source of your problems. Install the latest release version: 7.9.1. Open LMS Control Panel and confirm it is set to index only the folder(s) where your music library is located. Make sure there are no shortcuts to other folders in the target folders. Do a "Clear and Rescan" library rebuild.
The "Unable to find" error is probably due to your Touch looking to the IP address of the old LMS server. After doing the above, on the back of the Touch above the power plug is a reset button. Press and hold this button until the Touch restarts. It will guide you through the initial setup again. Post back with results.
