I would suggest that first you download

http://downloads.slimdevices.com/LogitechMediaServer_v7.9.1/LogitechMediaServer-7.9.1.exe

Right click on the .exe and choose "Install as Administrator".

You can configure LMS to start up when you log in or start up the
system
