Just a side comment: I understand that your other 24/192 files play
correctly, but keep in mind that you're playing 192000*3*2*8 =
9.2Mbits/s on a medium whose theoritical raw max speed is 54Mbps, and a
real max speed with 1500bytes MTU of 31.4Mbits/s
(http://morse.colorado.edu/~timxb/5520/ho/MaxThru802112003.pdf), shared
between up and down. You're dangerously approaching the limit. And yes,
because slimproto is asynchronous using HTTP large buffers can be used,
but Touch was not built at a time where having 1GB of memory on embedded
devices was piece of cake, so it has "only" 256MB. It can seem large,
but I don't know what is used for buffering. But mainly, any use of
lower modulation scheme due to SNR, interferers, network sharing with
other devices can cause data starving.
