All I can add is the headphone jack had many extra pins soldered to the main pcb.
o o o o o o oo oo o (Plug entry end) A non-interrupting jack only needs 3 connections. This has 5 (like an interrupting jack), + the 6 bonus pins rearward of those. I'm not positive those 6 have anything to do with the jack but there isn't anything else right there.
