1. Virtually everything has changed. For over a decade I was using a windows machine and had pretty decent service from the Touch, but suffered from a ton of dupes on the files and other problems. Exasperating to be sure. One of the reasons that I bought the Mac was to get away from intermittent issues. I already had an Apple laptop and enjoyed hassle-free service from it. So, I'll keep pecking away at the WOL side.
2. I just got a new router so that will take some sorting. It's in another part of the house and tethered to an APPLE Airport Base Station through an Ethernet cable. I was having wifi distance issues from the main router, so I added the Apple device. It helped a ton. 3. Great idea on buying a second power supply. I will start looking for one. Thanks again.
