FWIW I'd be a bit concerned if you have that many active devices on the
single Wi-Fi - mesh or no mesh - basically if even ΒΌ are all doing stuff
at the same time there will not be much bandwidth per device... Again
FWIW if it was me I'd be running 2 WLANs (2.4GHz) at opposite ends of
the channel ranges (e.g. something like 3, and 9 or 11), and use one for
your mesh for all your other devices and have one dedicated to only your
SBT and nothing else. (Note: If your router and WAPs support up to
Channel 13, you can use 11, if not it's about 9 - if you are in the USA
it will only be up to 11 I think. You should ideally only use something
like 3, 6 or 9 IIRC, due to overlap - if you have lots of neighbours
around any of these then avoid and use the other one(s) if possible).

You probably need to just get a long Ethernet cable and run it to the
SBT (or move everything to where you router is) and just try that for a
bit - to eliminate the WI-Fi entirely from the equation.
