I wonder how much of a pain it would be to set it up for gnu make? I
recently read about gnu make adding a posix standard != or += or both. i
see that in the bsd makefile and wonder if setting make -posix would work
(or what ever the flag is) eh, thats too easy, no way in hell it will work.
And the project is still maintained to some degree.
