Hi and welcome to Thousand Parsec community. As Kornel says, don't worry about
being disqualification because of this. There is probably a lot we can do to
make it easier to figure out games for people new to 4X games.

This is very cool. Working prototypes are a very string thing to include on an
application to support the stated experiences and knowledge.

I'm the guy working on the video tutorials for our main client. Currently the
work has been stalled a bit because there is a bug in the interface which I
wouldn't like to show in the video. But yesterday I have found a workaround
that will make it possible to continue recordings. So today when I get back
from work I will try to record as soon as possible. In the meantime try to
play with the client and try to figure things out.

Also it would help us make a better video if you can say what exactly did you
have problems with. So to make sure it is addressed in the video. Was it the
interface? Maybe the actual game play?

You can try to watch this test recording:
http://owner.rnachoctb.org/TPTutorial.ogg
It has no voice but maybe it will help you get started at least until the real
videos are done.

And I would also invite you to our IRC channel for a chat.

Have a great time,
Jure "JLP" Repinc
