To me the Groups work more like a mailinglist rather than a forum.
Same here, I think I have never used groups to read/write anything, I do everything through my Thunderbird. Works pretty well and no need to go to spesific "forum". Google Groups are nice since they provide both. For people who likes to use web interface are free to do so. I choose to use my MUA capabilities to handle group as a mail. Altough I would definitely like to see possibility to comment wiki pages without changing contents of page itself like you have to do now. Since wiki is used for collaboration? So if you want to raise new issue or feature, how to discuss about it? "Commenting" is one way to do it and that's how it's solved in many collaboration tools. Of course for Trac core development I don't see any restriction why different RFC or RFE wouldn't be discussed here - it would be arhived and easy to search later on... -- Jani Tiainen --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Trac Development" group.
