Right - but if there can be some synergy "by chance", all the better.
I initially proposed the 22nd of July as the target day for 0.11.1 (i.e.
one month after 0.11), and that's today. So Luis' request is not
unreasonable.

That really doesn't matter. We tried to get the milestones more focused
by moving batches of tickets away from 0.11.1 and 0.12, but that doesn't
mean that all tickets left for those milestones are accurately assigned,
and conversely that tickets for other milestones can't make it for
earlier milestones. As of this writing, there are *936* opened
tickets... nearly half of them listed as defects. That's a lot even just
for the triaging, so when cutting out a release, we can only hope we
have addressed the most annoying ones and not introduced new ones ;-)

I think it's doable.

Well, while we could "freeze" the current status of the fixes, there's
right now some active bug fixing going on, and I think it's a good thing
if we can get the pending patches in 0.11.1. So I propose that we go on
for a few days like that, fixing 5-10 more tickets, then freeze by the
end of the week if everything goes well.

Testing and feedback helps as well. And what about TracOnDebian? On that
wiki page, there's currently a big red box reading
 >Note from mgood: I am currently in the process of rewriting this page.
It is not currently complete, ...
(note added *3* years ago). It would be nice if the debian packaging
people could take this page in charge and update it for 0.11 (or 0.11.1).

I'll follow-up later today with a summary of the remaining tasks.
