Comment:
I've been unable to actually reproduce the problem
(apache-2.0.55, mod_python-3.1.4, Subversion-1.3.0
and Python-2.4.2 on Linux SLES9 64bits (did I say
it's reasonably fast?)).
So I'm leaving this open for further investigation
or feedback, but post-poning it.
