Since it sounds like you have the plug-in installed correctly, you are
probably missing htmldoc, which is what the pdf plug in uses.

Not sure what os you are using, but most package managers can locate it and
install it for you.

Thanks for those links. They look like they are what I need.

However, I've got a fundamental problem. How do I install these
puppies? I have tried using easy_install and I've tried renaming the
zip file to *.egg and adding the plugin through the admin page on my
wiki. Neither way works. (And I have restarted the apache, too.)

There is something basic that I'm missing, I'm sure. Can anyone help
me out?
