Thanks again for your reply well i do run norton antivirus on my machine, and i have disabled the microsoft exchange auto protect, still am not able to send/recieve the emails. And the webserver that runs Trac is the standalone webserver that is Tracd, Now how to ensure that Tracd is not allowd to initiate SMTP or SMTP server cannot be reached from Trac.
