Rainer, I don't recall asking a question, but merely expressing frustration with what I thought was the intended behavior/design of Trac. If I had been submitting an actual bug report there would more specificity, as opposed to this forum which seemed to be for less rigid discussion. That said, it is possible that the install may be the issue.
Trac 0.10.4 using apache on Ubuntu. Anything more that that I don't know because this is the weekend and I don't have access to the machine. Steps to duplicate: Select New Ticket, enter a description but no summary, click Submit ticket. Result: "Internal Error", "Tickets must contain a summary." Now I can go back to the edit page but what it shows is a page with the same error. I was expecting the error page to display the error with the form, allowing me to correct the mistake. Or, to be able to go back and re- submit. If this is not how trac is supposed to work please let me know and we'll work internally to correct the problem.
