Hi Olemis and thanks for you reply I'll try to answer a couple of your questions, but only briefly right now. Hope you don't mind. Also note that I am a newbie in this field, my knowledge about the code and design of Trac and plugins are not on par with yours. I'm in a "learning mode", the plugin I've just written was made to both cover a need I have as well as a step in this learning process.

I've checked the documentation, but just briefly. Isn't this functionality provided by Trac as of the upcoming 0.12 release? > > > Please note: The plugin is not compatible with Trac 0.11 or older versions. > > ... and works with 0.11. Ok, interesting. I had the impression that the handling of db changed in Trac 0.12. I am referring to the use of "@self.env.with_transaction()...", I thought this was added in Trac 0.12 thus not compatible with Trac 0.11... (But I have not checked the source code of Trac 0.11 since I started to dig around the trunk of the Trac code some months ago, i.e. the trunk towards Trac 0.12.) > If no difference (and if there's a chance to get it done) > > Q: > - would you consider to enhance existing ticket updater > in there | provide another component , so as to add > the functionality you implemented ? > - would you consider porting the features in RepositoryHookSystem > to 0.12 ? I have already spent some thoughts, and done some coding on my own, on offering myself to maintain the "Include" plugin (but I haven't addressed to the current plugin developer). I am not sure if my capacity allows for this request too. Please allow me to think about it, since I am not sure I'm the guy for this :) > I'll take a look , but FIFA WC has highest priority, so more probable > to do it in July after holidays ... (hope you understand ;o) Yes, I understand :D With best regards Mikael Relbe -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Trac Users" group.
