I was digging around to find how to let users add themselves to the CC on a ticket. It seems that the TICKET_CHGPROP permission gives them a tickbox to add/remove themselves, but it also lets them modify everything, including the ticket status.
Ideally, I'd like a way to let 90% of my users CC themselves but only add comments to existing tickets, without changing any other properties. A minority of trusted users will then be able to modify the properties with separate permissions from being in a different group. Is that possible, or is it an all-or-nothing with permission to edit properties? Do I need to submit a feature request? I've tried searching around the place for some info, but "trac cc edit" hits a lot of dead-ends.
