Plugins are controlled through the `[components]` section of your trac.ini. If you check you will probably have a load of lines for acct_mgr such as: acct_mgr.admin.accountmanageradminpage = enabled ...and you should be able to disable acct_mgr completely using: acct_mgr.* = disabled ...obviously that will affect how you login to your trac environment! > I am a complete n00b when it comes to Python so I'll try and have a > look at how I can remove an 'egg'. In general plugins can be installed globally in the python site packages folder, in a shared trac plugins folder (via the `[inherit]` `plugins_dir` ini entry or in a specific environment's `plugins` folder... The first step is to check your trac.ini and just disable the plugin as mentioned above. In your case, the python stack trace (from your original error report) shows you where the egg is stored: > > File "build/bdist.linux-x86_64/egg/acct_mgr/web_ui.py", line 869, in ...although I am a windoze user so might be wrong on this! > Thanks for your time and patience.
