Yes, your are right. We will update to TRAC 1.0 sooner or later. After this I will try the plug-ins.
Side-note: questions such as this one come up quite a bit on the mailing list. It would be great to have a FAQ on trac-hacks
Such FAQ would truly be appreciated. I did not know that my issue was a FAQ. I searched the mailing list archive and the internet before asking my question. But I could not find a solution.
